18. April 2008 - 22. April 2008, EYP Regional Session
2nd Baltic Sea Regional Session of the EYP Sweden

location: Stockholm, Sweden
description:

We are delighted to inform you about the 2nd Baltic Sea Regional Session in April 2008, under the high patronage of Ms. Cecilia MALMSTRÖM, Swedish minister for EU Affairs. The 2nd Baltic Sea Regional session will take place in the beautiful Swedish capital Stockholm, between the 18th and 22nd of April. It will gather approximately 80 Swedish and international delegates, mainly from the Baltic Sea region, but also from elsewhere.

The session will include all the familiar EYP elements such as teambuilding, committee work and general assembly, which will initially be held in the plenary hall of the Swedish parliament (the Riksdag)! The session will also include events such as Eurovillage and Country Presentations. In addition, we will be hosting an international chairs and press team.

Delegates will be divided into eight committees, discussing a variety of issues. However, the session will feature the overall theme of migration and integration; “Open borders –Open minds”. We are therefore thrilled that the Swedish Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy, Mr. Tobias BILLSTRÖM, has consented to address the session’s participants.

Due to kind sponsors, we are able to partially subsidise participation fees. They will therefore only amount to 80 euro for delegates and 110 euro for accompanying teachers/adults.

We look forward to welcoming you in Stockholm in April!
